And if you’re looking for the quickest and easiest way to get your restaurant’s website up and running, you won’t find an easier solution than WordPress. But you will need to add some functionality to get the perfect restaurant website.
To help with that, I’ll take you through the best WordPress restaurant plugins. Most of these plugins will cover functionality like restaurant menus, reservation bookings, and integration with delivery services. But I’ll try to cover as many different areas as possible. Restaurant Reservations
Restaurant Reservations is a free reservation plugin from Theme of the Crop, a restaurant focused WordPress development shop that I will mention a couple of times on this list.
It allows you to easily accept reservations and table bookings through your WordPress site. Once a customer makes a reservation request, you’ll receive an email notification and can quickly accept or reject the booking. Customers will automatically get an email letting them know either way.
You can also block out certain times so that users can’t make reservations outside your operating hours. And if you have abusive customers who keep no-showing (hopefully you don’t!), then you can completely block those customers from making any reservations.
You can add your reservation form to any post, page, or widget and all of the notification messages are 100% customizable.
It has a 4.9-star rating with over 10,000 active installs, making it one of the most popular free options.
foodpress – Restaurant Menu & Reservation Plugin
foodpress is a premium plugin that adds both menu and reservation functionality to WordPress.
The menu designs are aesthetic and come in a nice variety. One nice feature is that you can divide your menus by accordions or tabs.
The reservation form is similarly good looking. And you can easily manage all of your reservations from the backend.
The plugin comes with lots of customization options to mix up your layouts and color schemes, as well as a shortcode builder to make it easy to add different menu and reservation elements anywhere on your WordPress site.
foodpress is affordable at $34 and has 1,975 sales with a 4.35-star rating.
WPPizza
Though the name suggests it’s only for pizza shops (which was its original purpose), WPPizza is actually for any type of restaurant in its current iteration. It helps you set up and manage your menu, as well as accept orders (though only for cash on delivery in the free version).
You can set multiple prices per menu item, which is helpful for different portions. You can also accept and manage cash on delivery orders for various menu items. If you pay for premium add-ons (~$40) you can accept credit card and/or PayPal payments as well.
Everything is compatible with WPML, so you can create a multilingual restaurant site if needed.
Food and Drink Menu
Food and Drink Menu is another free plugin from Theme of the Crop. While their previous plugin was all about table bookings, this one is focused on setting up your restaurant menu with WordPress.
The plugin creates two custom post types:
You can use these custom post types to easily create and organize your menus. Then, you can use templates to control how your menus display.
Each menu item includes photos and pricing information. The menu items also feature proper schema markup for Google Rich Snippets.
The $25 pro add-on adds support for dietary icons like gluten free as well as specials and discounts.
Open Table Widget
Open Table Widget is a free plugin that makes it easy to integrate Open Table bookings into your restaurant’s WordPress site. Customers will be able to quickly make reservations via Open Table.
The free version only supports US-based restaurants. International restaurants will need to purchase the premium version for $37 for a single site license.
Restaurant Menu for Visual Composer
Visual Composer is one of the most popular WordPress page builder plugins. This add-on adds a new “Restaurant Menu” content block to Visual Composer so that you can use it to build your restaurant menu.
It’s not a standalone restaurant solution, but if you’re already using Visual Composer, it’s a great solution for you. The add-on costs $19 at Code Canyon.
Quick Restaurant Menu
Quick Restaurant Menu is another free plugin that helps you create a restaurant menu using WordPress. You can add pictures, list prices and sizes, and lots more.
Adding menu items is easy via two new custom post types. And arranging your menu items is a breeze thanks to the drag and drop interface.
You can display different menus depending on the day of the week or time of day. This is definitely a differentiating feature that lets you do some cool things. For example, you could automatically display the lunch menu first when someone visits your website during lunchtime. And vice versa for dinner.
Once you’ve finished creating your menu, you can easily add it anywhere on your site via a shortcode.
There’s also a pro version that unlocks even more functionality for $39 for a single site license.
Foodify – Restaurant Food Menu for Woocommerce
Foodify is a premium plugin that turns WooCommerce into an online food delivery store. Customers can browse your menus and easily add food items to their cart and purchase them for delivery.
Because Foodify works within WooCommerce, you’ll have access to the WooCommerce checkout system to handle payments. And everything is responsive and customizable.
If you want to take online food orders at your restaurant, Foodify is a simple way to implement that functionality. If you’re not planning to accept online orders, you should go with a different plugin, though.

Restaurant Manager
Restaurant Manager is a free plugin that handles both restaurant menus and table bookings.
Customers can easily create restaurant bookings through the front-end and you can manage all of your bookings through the WordPress dashboard. You can also confirm or reject bookings and notify customers via email.
In addition to the table booking functionality, you can also quickly create menus and showcase them via shortcode.
Just be a little wary because the plugin hasn’t been updated in 9 months as of the time of this post. Keep that in mind when choosing whether or not to use it.
Accura FoodMenu WP – Modern Restaurant Food Menu
Accura FoodMenu WP is a premium plugin that helps you create gorgeous, modern food menus.
You can create unlimited menus and menu items, add detailed descriptions and photos, and display your menus via one of the 50+ included styles.
If all you want is a gorgeous menu, Accura FoodMenu WP is a good solution. Just remember that it doesn’t include any table booking functionality.
